Nautical medical certificate for recreational boats in Palma de Mallorca

In the CMR centre in Palma de Mallorca you can obtain the nautical medical certificate that is needed for the obtention and/or renewal of the following recreational craft licences:

Navigation licence
Yacht Skipper licence (Types A, B or C)
Skipper for Basic Navigation licence (PNB)
Recreational Craft Skipper’s Licence (PER)

How long will it take me to complete the medical examination?

Approximately 15 minutes.

What does the medical examination consist of?

It consists of a hearing and vision test, a reflex test and a personal medical interview including a colour blindness test.

How often must I renew my boat licence?

The nautical licence must be renewed every 10 years, with the exception of those over 70 years of age, who must renew their licence every 5 years.
